Buggyfit classes are a great way for you and baby to get outdoors for some fresh air, a full body workout and meet some other friendly faces too. Sessions are designed and led to adapt for all abilities across postnatal and beyond, promoting safe exercise. You take it at your own pace and have fun whilst doing it! Classes are a mix of cardio, strengthening and toning exercises ensuring we get a total body workout. The class lasts for approx 45 minutes. No childcare required, bring your baby with you.

You can attend Buggyfit 6 weeks postnatal (8-10 weeks if you've had a C-section) as long as you've had your 6-8 week check with your GP and you have the green light as safe to begin exercise. 

Wednesdays: Master Park, Oxted. 10.15am. (45 mins)

Meeting point in front of the cricket pavilion.

Price: Taster - £6, 4 week class pass - £24, Individual class - £7

Please bring a resistance band and mat if you have them.

FAQS

WHEN CAN I START?

You can attend Buggyfit 6 weeks postnatal (8-10 weeks if you've had a C-section) as long as you've had your 6-8 week check with your GP and they've OK'd as safe to begin exercise.

WHAT DO I BRING?

  • Drink for mummy and baby

  • Rain cover / sunshade / hat

  • Sun cream

  • Snack for baby 

  • Toys 

  • You don't need a specific buggy, we ensure classes are suitable for everyone.

  • A mat or blanket for you and baby

  • Resistance band

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

  • We Buggyfit in all weathers (unless the Met Office are suggesting we don’t go out!) so come prepared.

  • Remember, “There is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing!!”.

  • Although you may get warm, the babies are not exercising, so remember your buggysnuggle, cosy toes or blanket for the cold days – we Buggyfit rain or shine.

WHAT TO WEAR?

  • Comfortable workout clothing. Layers if it's cold.

  • Sensible shoes! Good trainers or walking shoes.

  • Good fitting sports bra.
